Thank You for Waiting!

AWE is still coming!

HELLO FRIENDS…

Never fear, “AWE” is in process— just delayed!

Despite my best efforts to get “AWE” released by midnight (or the 4:45a hour at which I finally called my whooped brain beyond help (accidentally deleting several images from my files was my 167th clue), I finally had to stop and get a couple of hours of sleep. Tech issues made worse by ice that seems to be interfering with our wifi signal is preventing me from driving into town—never a dull moment!

But as I shared in my last newsletter, I am practicing acceptance that not being in control is something we all grapple with, and keeping you updated while being gentle with myself is the best that I can do (besides consuming good strong coffee in a fav mug ;)).

Needless to say, “AWE” will certainly be in your inbox ASAP. And I am happy to extend the special pricing to you dear and patient subscribers for 5 days (until 11:59p on Sunday, Feb. 5) as a way of thanking you for your understanding.

Send any good thoughts you have and thank you for going with the flow with me! Extra breath for us all!

❤️, Michelle

(Here is a sneak partial peek at one carved piece, “Oh, Radiant Rain”. I discovered the enthralling bark on an old tall eucalyptus tree growing in front of the National Gallery of Victoria and stood there in the rain taking so many pictures of this native bark that I did not make it into the gallery, lol— I felt so happy and complete, as Nature is its own museum of art! 😍)

Michelle lives nestled between the hills and sky, steeped in endless inspiration gifted by nature. She is compelled to make art that embodies empowerment, which comes from inner searching, speaking one’s truth, and reaching out to connect with others. Her revolutionary method of transforming macro photography into 3-dimensional sculpture enables new beings to emerge from imagery seeking release from 2-dimensional planes, reflecting the transformative quality inherent in us, all. She thrives on getting lost in the details of nature and pushing the boundaries of her medium, combining her love of ceramics, drawing, painting, and encaustic.

Her previous career as a social worker enabled her to witness the cathartic power of art, fueling her as she continues to use art as a healing force.  Her groundbreaking work has received recognition in the national and international encaustic community, and resides in private and public national and international collections.
