Exploring energies held in the body through gentle hands-on processes enables access to the inherent wisdom stored in the body. These nonverbal body-focused methods use movement (not artistic ability!) with art materials within a safe space to open doorways to inner healing. This strengthens the sense of self and empowers while moving through that which seeks release. It is a therapeutic expression without being therapy. These methods are accessible to everyone!

Guided Drawing®️
Using both hands to express inner experience outwardly onto paper, this repetitive movement and mark-making taps into sensations and emotions felt in the body. Often done with eyes closed, the flow of these rhythmic patterns emerges from hands and body while being safely guided. The completion of each exploration leads to a reconnection with a strengthened self and grows new, empowered ways of being in the world. This is an open process of expression, rather than of creating art.

SoulCollage®️
Creating collages from imagery chosen intuitively, this process brings delight, self-reflection, and deep personal meaning. Working individually, with friends, groups, or workshop enables the building of a personal deck of cards to bring light and direction to your life. Learning to speak from the voice of the cards brings endless teachings to support your life’s unfolding. Anyone can do this modality, and no art experience is necessary—just a willingness to play, explore, and be open to surprise!

Clay Field Therapy®️
In the quiet simplicity of a wooden box– clay, water, and a sponge enable the unfolding of a journey toward safe connection, secure attachment, and the deep nourishment of essential needs. As hands explore and senses awaken, new pathways in the mind are created as the nervous system regulates, gently healing the shadows of trauma to reclaim wholeness and peace. This body-based practice, developed by world-renowned Cornelia Elbrecht for over forty years, offers a profound invitation to healing.

Training
I trained for three years through the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy in Australia (founded by world-renowned leader Cornelia Elbrecht) and am certified in Initiatic Sensorimotor Art Therapy, Healing Trauma in Children with Clay Field Therapy, and Healing Trauma for Adults with Clay Field Therapy. I also received certification as a SoulCollage®️ Facilitator by Mariabruna Sirabella during this time. With my foundation as an MSW, these tools allow me to offer a dynamo of therapeutic healing experiences without being traditional therapy.
