Encaustic Sculpture Process
My method of creating encaustic sculpture has been evolving for over eleven years, building upon an original idea that came during a long night of insomnia. Working with macro photography and transforming it into form through the use of beeswax and damar resin is an innovation within the encaustic medium and brings deep joy as I continue to explore pushing the medium beyond its boundaries. Nature and its cycles of growth and change are at the root of my work, and this transformation is a thread that carries into my expressive healing arts offerings. I am delighted to continue the journey!
